Rejected outgoing emails

Alan Secker Guest	Posted: Mon Jun 30, 2008 11:02 am    Post subject: Rejected outgoing emails I have just been providing my daughter with an email address based on my domain, on a newly installed Mozilla Thunderbird,so it is all 'new'. When I try to send anything it fails. We only no this when we check for incomings. I have done this so many times (I manage about 20 addresses on the same server for different members of my staff) t5hat I find it difficult to believe that I have set it up incorrectly. Prior to this she was complaining that she could not send, via web mail. The firewall is turned off as the modem/router has one. What else should I look at. Any ideas?

This sounds as if Port 25 is closed. Has this machine ever sent emails (Parental Controls)?
